LopeEdit is an editor aimed at programmers of any language or as a substitute for the notepad.

It supports multiple files at the same time and of unlimited size, letting you change between files easily via tabs.

It colours syntax for any programming language. By default: C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic, VBScript, HTML, ASP, JSP, SQL, Cobol, C#, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), Pascal, Perl, PHP. You can also configure new languages and colour any part of the code (comments, reserved words, chains, etc).

The LopeEdit text searcher is very easy and quick to use. It has two bars (one to explore folders and one to explore files) that let you examine the file system to open the files quickly. The filebar also has Favourites, multiple clipboards, a bar with the ASCII table to insert special characters, it lets you insert templates that are totally configurable in documents (the program incorporates templates for C/C++, Java, Visual Basic and HTML).

And to make the job easier, LopeEdit incorporates a tool menu so you can run external programs, and view previews of what you're programming, a fast file view, you can add marks to open files, etc. Very complete.
